My friends case was sent to NSC and delivered at NSC on 4th JUN. NSC redirected them to Texas. His checks got cleared today.. They issued receipts on JUN 11th.Good for him.

Whoever the lawmaker was who came up with the idea of allocating leftover EB4, EB-5 to EB-1 ! What? the least wanted category giving away its quota to highly deserving EB-1 ? How low can their thinking go ?
What ? the leftover EB-1 highly deserving visas given to slightly less deserving EB2 ? :)
Is there a proposal with IV to seek rethinking abt this spillover process ?

Based on my brief experience with the American legal system (i.e., my greedy blood-sucking incompetent immigration lawyer), I don't think I want to get entangled in the American legal system.

We have thousands here. We take just 1000 people and if everyone contributes 100 dollars - its 100,000 dollars. Just an estimate for lawyer fees incase we get that far

if it takes 2 or 3 years to fight this case, what is the use
even if AILF wins in say 2 years:
0. there are people with 2006/2007 India PDs, for whom I-485 filing is going to take 4 years or so, and this ruling, even if it comes in 2 years, cuts down the time by half!
1. USCIS wont f@ck with future generations the way they did with us. We wont have to eye the VB with suspicion everytime its published.
2. Its delayed, but its atleast justice and puts blame where it should lie. If this goes unchallenged, then essentially what USCIS did would be right/correct when people look back on this.

Where the hell all these guys when EB3 is getting 80K to 100K of total 140K visas all these years and EB2 is getting just merely 10%-15%. Nobody from EB2 didn't felt jealous like this before. It is hard to digest for them now.
So what were your expectations from EB3-I in those past years .... to fight for EB2-I and write to USCIS saying please don,t issue GC's to us but instead use those Visas and issue it our EB2 - mates.

With out IV, The only two things folks on the hill knew were illegal immigration and H1B visa. Now more than 75% offices know the EB issue inside out and have a position on it. This is an effort that needs to be continued until we get a solution.
This in itself is a stupendous achievement and IV has made it possible. 2 or 3 years back you had NO VOICE. Now you have IV. Thats enough reason contribute and feel involved in the community effort.

it's not mine case. Clockwork reported some LUD for I140 some where. May be Aug 5? Not sure. But I think LUD of I140 doesn't matter. This is my personal opinion.

My papers were received at Nebraska Center by one... M. Schwitzer on 30th July. So far nothing... no receipts, no encashed checks.
Latest frontlog update shows they have reached 29th July. It is a farce. In my office, I know of at least 5 guys whose papers were received in Nebraska Center between 17th to 20th July. Their checks are not even encashed till today.
They just put in wrong and fake info just to please their bosses. This is a messy setup.
Perhaps it is time for us to wake up one day and head to our "real and true" homes! May be we will eat Dal Roti only but we would be proud of ourselves and not remain at the mercy of these insensitive folks at INS. I am sure most of them are guys like you and me, but the system sucks and deep inside our hearts we off-load our anger and frustation at them....
I am really pissed off.....
